I look into the sea, and the sea looks back at me.
Its dark, heavy depth pushes against my stare—
as if something ancient is watching from below.
Half-buried bronze…
a vessel that might release a pulse of blue light.
Black strands drifting like a witch’s hair, rising toward the surface.
The trembling of my own heart that refuses to quiet.
In this short surreal descent, visions shift like memories:
a dim forest of lifeless white beasts,
their red flow sinking into the sea as iron dust,
shining with a strange, irresistible gaze.
And then—
the distorted moon appears,
and the rippled surface begins to smile.
Faint, pale, and uncanny.
A 50-second visual interpretation inspired by the speaker’s gaze
and the sea that gazes back.
